Liquidation of the company as a way to resolve a corporate conflict
Since 2014, Russian law has provided participants in companies whose activities are blocked by a corporate conflict with the opportunity to demand the judicial liquidation of such a company.
Before the introduction of this norm, societies in which corporate wars raged for a long time were almost doomed to bankruptcy, and their participants were doomed to huge material losses.
Now the situation may change, since liquidation allows you to stop corporate disputes at a relatively early stage and distribute the company’s property among the participants after settlements with creditors.
