Biography
Ekaterina joined MGAP team as a multi-jurisdictional (Common & Civil law background) lawyer with 10+ years
of in-house experience in Energy sector. Now, being based in a new MGAP Office in Georgia, Ekaterina
pursues all types of business establishment and commercial cooperation projects for foreign and domestic
clients, including consultations for energy industry, commercial, corporate and governance support to new
and existing businesses, business compliance, trade controls and regulatory compliance for the specific
licensed or permit-based regimes of entrepreneurship in Georgia, Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries.

- Bachelor of Arts in International Commercial Law, University of Westminster (UK), 2007
- Bachelor’s degree in Jurisprudence, Tashkent State University of Law (Uzbekistan), 2011
Professional experience:
- Ekaterina joined MGAP in 2021. Previously she worked as Country Head of Legal and Contracts in an
international oilfield services corporation in different jurisdictions, where her career first began in the Central
Asian countries, and she was then relocated to support Georgian and Azerbaijani operational activity. Before, in 2009-2012, Ekaterina was supporting commencement of the international investment project for construction of Gas-to-Liquids giant plant in Uzbekistan.
